hi to all my viewers!!!! I'M BACK!!!! yupp such a long break from blogging... well the reason u can guess y from my title...

BAND CAMP DAY 1:
my band camp day 1 was probably non-existent cos i had music practical. so well started the day with killer interview for band exco!!!! it was really scary, cos i really was not as prepared as i would usually be... oh well that's jc life for me - u barely have enough time to do anything!!!! one projects follows immediately after another ends - no break whatsoever!!!! oh well went in shot from all over the places... some questions i couldn't understand at all... some i didn't have the answer... but they just looked at me all the same - the look that expected answers, OR NOT DIE!!!! oh well some answer too vague, some answers not in my capacity to answer, some answers virtually impossible to fulfil!!!! oh well, just 2 words to describe my interview - SCREWED UP!!!! oh well after that went to prac for music practical until the the afternoon... THX LOTS TO THE FOLLOWING PPL FOr HELPING SO MUCH IN MY PRACTICAL:

1. Lisa, Yuxin, and Cindy!!!! for helping to play the bumblebee quartet!!!! n they practically had to time to practise at all! i'm really very grateful to them!!!!! they were even more worried than me that they might screw up my practical!!!! i really LUV my section to bits!!!!

2. Yuxin AGAIN!!!! cos she accompanied me for my blessed spirits despite the last minute information n everything!!!! n she gave all sorts of constructive comments to improve my concertino and blessed spirits!!!! n U R A SUPER GOOD ACCOMPANIST!!!! thx lots to u!!!! at least u could skip band prac and didn't need to play the harp!!!! sorry for making u so tired that day!!!!

3. Phoon yu!!!! for having last minute accompanied me for my concertino!!!! not an easy piece at all!!!! yea but he did it all the more, although it was quite bad during my actual practical!!!! nvr the less thx lots to him too!!!!

anyway after prac, had lessons until like 9pm!!!! it was a overload of information on stravinsky neo-classicism and indian classical music!!!! it was like almost 4hrs long n really tiring!!! fun in some sense i guess... came out at 7pm for a break... saw the band playing games!!!! I SO WANTED TO GO DOWN AND JOIN THEM!!!! i must admit that at that point i felt like crying cos i so wanted to be with the band!!!! haiz... anyway after that had dinner with yuxin accompanying me - THX LOTS YUXIN!!!! den lisa came - she didn't look too well!!!! i feel so guilty for making her worry about my prac on top of her so many duties!!!! haiz... went to bathe after that, n went to join them to watch mr holland's opus a second time! very meaningful i must say, although i watched it a second time!!!! i didn't realise and appreaciate the thing when i was sec2 bah... anyway after that slacked around, listened to fv recording den went to slp at about 1am...

BAND CAMP DAY 2:
well this was the day when my band camp actually started!!!! started off with pt when my group was the last... n so we had to do a forfeit of writing something with our butts (sorry couldn't really rmbr what was the statement we were supposed to write)... den went for breakie - PRATA!!!!! this is the first time i'm having prata for breakie!!!! anyway had crazy band prac til the aftnoon den had MUSIC QUIZ!!!! yea the test paper not really successful - alot of copying!!!! although some ppl not too happy about it... the aural perception part was quite easy apparently although i tot it could possibly kill some groups... well the grp with the highest score was SCHUBERT - at yuxin didn't mug for nothing!!! their score was 37/40!!!! and 2 wrong marks goes to wrong answers in aural perception where everybody else though it was easy!!!! that one crazy grp!!!! anyway the snakes and ladders game wasn't too bad after all!!!! not as boring as i feared it would b!!!! well at least mr ho was ok with it!!!! music quiz com u heard that? the credit goes to the whole comm!!!! den had games!!!! was running around like crazy!!!! this was my first n only games session!!!! we passed the canteen so many times cos had to keep running between the grandstand area n the main njc building!!!! anyway had lots of fun!!!! den ate GOOD DINNER!!!! cheers to the food comm, esp to cindy who claimed she was the one chosing the dishes!!!! den had EXCO GAMES!!!! OMG IT WAS AWESOME!!!! was really scary!!!! HAHA MY BEETHOVEN GROUP WAS THE MOST SCARY CAT GRP!!!! we had only 2 guys - me and eng kwan!!!! both of us freaked out at every station!!!! haha eng kwan would always be at the frontline when we're proceeding between stations but when we reach the station and follow the clues, he always goes to the back!!!! haha for me, i was being scared but alway EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS!!!! haha we took a hell long time getting through the dark alley - for everystep we took i always said, "CHECK UR SURRONDINGS!!!!" haha i bet jia hao was laughing away waiting for us for like 10mins+ when there nothing scary at all except the dummy dropping at the end which was at a totally save distance frm us!!!! anyway our bixiu and benjamin station was the CLASSIC!!!! we took like 15+mins just to do that station!!!! first 10mins didn't dare to enter the clue area, finally entered and saw bixiu sitting high up on the wall!!!! den we standing far way discussing super long whether she was a dummy or not!!!! haha can u imagine - us shining torches on her for the whole of like 10mins, discussing whether she was real, n she couldn't move at all, n had to sit there not moving, not breathing!!!! haha after that i think we crossed some line and finally she screamed n we got our answer!!!! haha anyway went in to get the clues when benjamin appeared!!!! haha all of us like squeezed into the corner!!!! haha... those were the best 2 stations for my grp!!!! well den went to wash up and was supposed to go to slp... the stage band was having prac in the middle of the nite!!!! haha poor them!!!! anyway i bathed den slacked around playing bridge... haha saw trpt cheryl being very hard working n writing her speech while i was still slacking around!!!! haha lisa kept telling me to write my speech but in the end i was so tired to think of anything and went to slp at about 2am...

BAND CAMP DAY 3:
woke up earlier than the rest to write my speech... was just sitting outside and scribbling away... end up rushed thru my breakie!!!! went on for band prac - was super slpy n closed my eyes n looked down for one moment, BUT MY EARS WERE STILL AWAKE, TRUST ME!!!! who noes mr ho caught me!!!! arggg!!!! trust me, I WAS LISTENING TO WHAT WAS HAPPENING, IF NOT I WOULDN'T HAVE WOKEN UP SO FAST!!!! anyway rushed thru lunch again with no appetite at all, den prepared for my speech for BM!!!!! omg y did ah ma put BM for me?!?! anyway went in to deliver my speech, but being cut off half way at 3mins (WE WERE TOLD TO GIVE 5MINS!!!!) so i only talked about my dream band and vision for the band...was about to go on to the 2nd half on y i shud b the bm but didn't manage to say it... n left the podium feeling really funny... den had q&a... not too bad i felt, although not anywhere near good at all!!!! well went out to wait for the votes to be processed, n came back to received a shock/surprise - written on the board was "Band Major - Andrew"... i was like OMG!!!! went back to my sit still blur and sort of collapsed on my sit w/o any energy... in 1 sense i didn't want to get selected cos i noe myself n dun tink i'm suitable for this post!!!! on the other hand i wanted cos I DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE A SECOND SPEECH!!!! haha anyway nothing to b especially happy or congratulated about, cos that means more responsibilities for the next yr ahead!!!! hope i do well... wish me luck. GOD BLESS ME!!!! well anyway sat thru the rest of the elections and finally band camp was over!!!! well these are the RIP (REALLY IMPT PPL) i really have to thank for making band camp a very enjoyable one:

1. Beethoven GROUP!!!! for the fun, laughter, wackiness, n everything!!!!

3. Music Quiz Comm!!!! for do all ur parts and ensuring everything is running smoothly!!!! haha sorry jean for making u run so much!!!! u ppl made music quiz a utter success (at least in my eyes!)

2. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, AS ALWAYS................. MY CHICKEN SECTION!!!! who was always together anytime anywhere!!!! n for giving me inspiration for my speech!!!! haha...

back home now... didn't eat much for dinner either... dun feel really well... shall go slp early... niteZ!!!!
